Latest Hindi movie ‘Kuldip Patwal : I Didn’t Do It’ collected Rs 0.05 crore total income at India’s box office in one week. Featuring Raima Sen and Gulshan Devaiah in leading roles, the Bollywood film witnessed 1-2% occupancy in the opening week. In first weekend, the movie did not receive an expected response from the audiences.
Competing against Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer new Bollywood movie ‘Padmaavat’, the political drama film received low response from the people in first week. As Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic drama continued to dominate the major chunk of cinema halls in the country, ‘Kuldip Patwal : I Didn’t Do It’ failed to attract a big number of audience in the theatres.
In opening weekend, the movie managed to gain some response from the audience. Witnessing moderate occupancy in initial three days, the film bagged Rs 0.03 crore total box office collection. On Monday, the movie faced sharp drop in the public response which continued to decline day by day. The movie could not maintain consistency in its performance in the cinema halls as the public response declined gradually in week days.
Releasing on less number of screens in India, Remy Kohli’s directorial earned a total collection of Rs 0.05 core in seven days. The movie did not business in the international market as it wasn’t released in overseas. In second week, the film is facing box office clash with Akshay Kumar starrer movie ‘PadMan’. Let’s see whether it manages to earn any profit in its business in the 2nd week.
