Featuring Varun Dhawan, Gitanjali Rao and Banita Sandhu in the leading roles, latest Bollywood movie ‘October’ is expected to take a thundering start to its box office journey. Last seen in ‘Judwaa 2’, Varun had romanced Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The multi-starrer romantic comedy film earned a total income of Rs 227.59 crore at the worldwide box office. Varun’s latest Hindi movie is also expected to earn such a big amount at the box office in one month.

Online ticket-booking for the movie began on Wednesday. A big number of people purchased the movie’s tickets online. Growing popularity of the actor shows that his movies are being liked and watched by plenty of audiences. His latest Bollywood movie is expected to earn Rs 10 crore collection at India’s box office on first day. The income figure may vary if the public response as well as theatre occupancy increases in the cinema halls.

Varun’s previous Hindi movie ‘Judwaa 2’ did a remarkable business at Bollywood Box Office on first day of its release. Directed by his father David Dhawan, the romantic comedy movie minted Rs 16.10 crore on opening day. Featuring Alia Bhatt in the lead role, Varun’s another film in 2017 was ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. The romantic drama celluloid had made a collection of Rs 12.25 crore at India’s box office on day 1.

Apart from grossing huge income in the domestic market, Varun’s films showcased excellent performances in the international arena. His previous two cinemas crossed Rs 15 crore mark in the overseas market and emerged as one of the top grossing films of Varun Dhawan in this decade. I think his new Bollywood offering too will also leave no stone unturned in earning a record-breaking amount at the box office. Let’s see how the film performs in domestic as well as international arena in the 1st weekend.
