October Movie 4th Day Box Office Collection Report

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, latest Bollywood movie ‘October’ exhibited excellent performance at box office on fourth day of release. The romantic Hindi flick witnessed more than 5% occupancy in the cinema halls on 1st Monday and received average response from the audiences. Featuring Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu and Gitanjali Rao in the main roles, the Hindi celluloid is expected to earn an amount of Rs 4 crore on 4th day of release.

Based on a love story, ‘October’ film was released on 2308 screens on 13th April this year. The Bollywood offering received mixed reviews from the critics. Though Varun Dhawan has a huge fan following in India, his latest film does not seem to have influenced a major chunk of audience in India. His previous movies ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ performed comparatively better at India’s box office and earned double digit incomes on 4th day of their releases.

‘Judwaa 2’ was the highest grossing film of Varun Dhawan in year 2017. David Dhawan’s directorial garnered a total income of Rs 227.75 crore at worldwide box office. The romantic celluloid made a total business of Rs 138.61 crore in India. Featuring Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the female leads opposite dual roles played by Varun, the Hindi offering emerged as the top earner Indian film in year 2017. On 4th day, the second part of ‘Judwaa’ movie had earned Rs 18 crore collection at the box office.

Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, which features Varun Dhawan in the main role, too left no stone unturned in grossing a whopping income at the box office in the first weekend. Earning an amount of Rs 12.08 crore on third day of release, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial minted Rs 55.13 crore total collection in four days. Varun’s latest film has showcased growth in its performance on 3rd day. The romantic celluloid is expected to gain steady public response on Monday.
