Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 22nd Day Box Office Collection Report
Directed by popular Indian filmmaker Luv Ranjan, latest Bollywood movie ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ collected an income of Rs 1.27 crore on 22nd day of its release in India. The Hindi language film grossed Rs 94.91 crore total box office collection in 22 days. Featuring Kartik Aryan and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles, the newly released Bollywood film is expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark at Bollywood Box Office by the end of fifth week of its release.
The romantic comedy movie, which also features Deepika Amin and Sunny Nijar in the lead cast, took an earth-shattering start to its box office journey in India. The Hindi comedy film registered a business of Rs 45.94 crore in the first week. The Bollywood movie witnessed 40% drop in the theatre occupancy in next week and made a total business of Rs 29.77 crore in the second week. The film’s total collection in third week was reported to be Rs 18.93 crore.
Apart from showcasing better performance in the domestic market, the Bollywood movie recorded an astounding business in the overseas. The romantic comedy film witnessed average occupancy in the foreign theatres and collected Rs 7 crore total income in the overseas market. The Hindi language movie made a business of Rs 5.09 crore in North American countries – Canada and United States. In United Kingdom, the Bollywood movie received average response from audiences and earned an income of Rs 0.72 crore at UK Box Office.
Releasing on very few screens in south Asian countries, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ movie received poor response from the audiences. In Malaysia, the Bollywood film earned Rs 0.01 crore total box office collection. The Hindi language film collected Rs 0.44 crore total income at New Zealand box office. Releasing on 1925 screens (domestic 1650 screens + overseas 275 screens), the Bollywood movie earned an income of Rs 128.81 crore (gross) at the worldwide box office.
